In partnership with AGB Institutional Strategies, four historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) examined their business models to leverage their unique strengths and history and capitalize on opportunities in response to the macro trends in higher education.

This report outlines the national trends impacting HBCUs, overall areas of potential improvement, challenges to effective change, and building blocks for new revenue that will lead to a more sustainable long-term future.

This project was generously funded by The Kresge Foundation, which provided a grant to the four institutions involved in the project.
